While in Mexico City, I’ve been using the Leica LUX app that brings the iconic look and feel of Leica photography to the iPhone, blending classic aesthetics with the convenience of mobile shooting. During my time in Mexico City, I’ve used it to slow down and approach image-making with more intention, experimenting with simulated Leica lenses and curated color profiles. It’s not a replacement for a Leica camera, but it invites a different mindset, one that values light, mood, and moment over speed and automation.
