I'M GONNA MISS THIS GUY

After 24 years in the UAE, my good friend and colleague James, along with his wife Donna, are leaving Dubai and heading back to Canada.

Nearly 7 years ago, we moved from Mexico City to embark on a new adventure here in the UAE. Early on, James was a warm and welcoming presence in and around ZU. With our offices close together (and Michael’s nearby as well), we quickly bonded over dynamic, fun conversations about work, life, the creative industry, music, humour and so much more.

James, so many of us are going to miss you—you can count me high on that list. Wishing you and Donna all the very best as you head to much chillier climes. I look forward to visiting you in Canada somewhere down the line. You owe me a trip to the Sugar Shack!

May your final 5 days in the UAE be filled with great food, fun and meaningful moments as you soak up the last of the desert heat. Maybe now Privilee can turn a profit!
